CHARLIE HARRISION (Bass Guitar & vocals)

Charlie Harrison was born in Tamworth, England and got his first bass guitar at age 14. He turned “pro’ at sixteen and got his first big break when he joined chart topping 70’s UK Rock Group Judas Jump. After recording & playing with Judas Jump for a number of their hey day years, Charlie left the group and then toured the UK, Europe and all over The World as a sideman with Leo Sayer, The Spencer Davis Group, Frankie Miller and Al Stewart.

He re-located to Los Angeles and immediately recorded an album and toured with Roger Mc Guinn (The Byrds) before being asked to join Poco replacing Tim Schmidt (who was leaving to join The Eagles). Charlie recorded five (5) albums with Poco and toured all over the world with them for a number of years before being leaving to join Rod Stewart’s band. He played live and recorded with Rod for several years before, tired of living in Los Angeles, he re-located to Nashville in the late 90’s.

Upon moving to Nashville, Charlie started working on his own music as well as recording & performing live with legendary guitarist Rick Vito (Fleetwood Mac, Bob Seger, Bonnie Raitt), and also working as a session bass player on many big Nashville artist’s records before joining Jive Deluxe.

JIMMY GUNN (Drums, Percussion & vocals)

Jimmy Gunn is originally from Lanett, Alabama and is a dedicated professional musician, a powerful rock drummer and great Blues/R & B vocalist and songwriter. He moved up to Nashville to play music and has subsequently spent the better part of the last 20 years playing drums with a veritable “who’s who” of the most recognizable names in the Nashville entertainment industry, most notably Brooks & Dunn where his powerhouse drumming was the backbone of their fantastic live shows for 8 years.

Since working with Brooks & Dunn, Leon Russell and Edgar Winter and until he recently replaced Jive Deluxe’s original drummer, for the past 5 years Jimmy has been busy recording with some of Nashville’s top artists and playing Major Concerts all over the USA, The UK & Europe. Musicians & Music have been in Jimmy Gunn’s blood since he was a little boy and we’re told he’s been banging on drums and singing his heart out since the age of five.
